WHY WE DIG ON JUST HITS

Honestly we are recent fans.  But they have a decent sound and the possibility to create something truly unique, and that is where their potential lies.  Plus the band are big advocates of supporting local music and leveling the playing field for original music indie performers. Here's hoping SXSW is a springboard for bigger things to come.

BAND BIO

"JUST HITS" from San Antonio, Texas, is an all-original group formed in the latter part of 2011. They have a unique sound that is refered to as Rock n' Soul. The lead singer, Rob, uses his smooth vocals relay his real-life lyrics in a way that is pleasing to the soul and ears alike. Rey, the lead guitarist dances around his guitar with those distinctive tasty licks and the bass player, Noah, will keep it rumbling with his bubbly bass lines. As for the drummer, Travis, you must listen with caution as the "Jesus of Drums" will twist your brain into a knot with his intricate beats. Then there is the most recent addition, Marcus Barber, who is a master on the sax and keyboards. After joining, he took the band to a whole new level as far as writing, composition, and sound.

Since the band has gotten together, the music never stops flowing. Together, they've retained a musical force that cannot be stopped and will continue to grow and expand. A burning passion for music that drives "Just Hits" to never be satisfied with the "status quo" and to keep forging new aspects and influences into their music. We continue to enjoy ourselves while making music and sharing it with the world.
