Hey, I'm Emma Lane and I grabbed the remote!
I'm a country-rock, singer-songwriter from a small farm town outside of Rochester, NY! No, I didn't actually grow up on a farm but I was late to high school a few times because cows broke out of their gates and were crossing the road. I've been interested in music since I was in diapers due to the fact my dad is a huge music geek. The geekiness was passed down and years later, here I am now, an award winning singer-songwriter who's latest single, Little Bit of Somethin', was co-written with BMI award winning hit songwriter, Kristy Jackson of Fever Pitch Music, who has written for Reba McEntire and CURB Records and many others. How awesome is that? I still feel like I'm dreaming, pinch me.
Not only am I a music geek, I'm a huge geek in general (another geekery passed down from my dad). I love reading but I also love comics and am a huge fan of TV shows like Sherlock, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who and Star Trek. I can guarantee, I was the only 6 year who knew what a Vulcan Mind Meld was.
2015 is going to be a big year for this geek and her music, so make sure you stay tuned!
