If you are a big fan of driving anthemic rock in the mold and enormity of U2, I urge you to check out Kilto Take.
Every song by this band is incredibly huge, and it is their knack for stretching riffs and melodies to a near breaking point that mesmerizes and hooks the listener. There is a frenetic tension to the music through it's sweeping guitar attack and implacable percussion that we haven't heard, in fact, since the debut of U2. Kilto Take is fiery but focused, and uses technically proficient propulsion and fuzzy, tactile indulgences to create a sound that is muscular, forceful and truly impassioned.
There is a palpable buzz to this emerging U.K. band on the Medical Records label. The influences are obvious: U2, Radiohead, Muse, etc. Yes, there is a similar sonic bombast that feels immediately familiar but there is a uniqueness that goes beyond those battled comparisons. It is the band's ability to harness that sound and add finesse and sophistication that gives Kilto Take a veteran postmodern and contemporary feel.
Rarely do you see similar capacities in a debut recording. Kilto Take delivers waves of radio-worthy anthems, one after another, parceled in an expansive and relentless rock and roll package with layered, full rock orchestration, immense shards of guitar and eruptive vocal tenors that commands immediate attention. It's dramatic and grandiose without the obligatory pretentiousness that usually follows super-sized rock and roll.
Keep your eyes on Kilto Take. This is a band with an extremely high ceiling and enormous potential.

Kilto Take's Jivewired Bio: Three musical catalysts collide by chance, like some audio-laboratory experiment gone wrong. After the smoke has cleared, what's left is a volatile compound of commanding guitars and regimented percussion.
Seemingly by chance, Kilto Take have experienced a rapid rise to attention befitting their disciplined approach to music.
In an era dominated by affectation disguised as modesty, the band that plays louder and prouder than their attitude is a rare breed indeed.
Kilto Take arrive onto a musical landscape scarred by the likes of Radiohead, Gang of Four, The Cure, Depeche Mode and early U2 and it’s this musical inspiration and heritage that forms the strong basis of their craft. Destined to follow in the footsteps of the UK’s most esteemed rock acts, it’s difficult to think of another powerhouse capable of packing this much punch, so early on in their musical career.
"something special has emerged from a UK scene lacking in ’proper’ breakthrough rock"
"Imagine a perfect blend of early 80s post-punk with the modern innovation of its successors like White Lies and Interpol. It’s intelligent music for an audience bored of the endless cheap Libertines clones of a few years ago."
Check out Kilto Take's Kickstarter Campaign: A limited edition audiophile pressing of Kilto Take debut album, Resolute

One Sentence Album Review:"The emotive is pure rush, an adrenaline-generating soundscape that is equal parts elegant beauty and raw horsepower."

"A rush of rock that's out to take the world by storm with it's soaring guitars and even more soaring vocals. Something of a melodic hustle and bustle that's nodding furiously in the direction of early U2 and The Editors. A band out to portray itself as the real deal, and, if this [release] is a true reflection of what's to come, the cards certainly seem to be stacked in their favour."
